NIKE National All-Star Games
Graphics for regional tryouts across the country that lead to a centralized registration website.

The NIKE National All-Star Games brings together the top high school lacrosse players from 13 regional tryouts across the United States to compete in a highly scouted tournament each summer in Baltimore, Maryland.
My role started at the planning stages of the original event concept in 2019 and continues today. I designed the original branding and logo, the graphic marketing assets and the website.
Branding elements
- Main event logo
- National Senior All-Star logo
- Multiple iterations of regional logos
- Multiple iterations of logos for uniform designs
Graphic marketing assets
- Regional tryout announcements. These have evolved over the years. One year I used some wild design concepts involving state-related animals. I’ve since moved to a more distinct brand, using player images in a template that reiterates it.
- Email blast graphics to invite specifically targeted players. I also set up draft emails in the organizers’ Gmail, pre-designed with graphics and registration links. Organizers open the draft, paste in recipient addresses and fire it off.
- Roster graphics for both regional teams (3 per region) and the Senior All-Star Game.
- Senior All-Star Game “diploma” certificates. I use Adobe InDesign to map spreadsheets of player information into formatted text areas, then generate individual pages for each player. It automates the process, reduces errors and produces a keepsake every all-star receives in a diploma-style book.
Website
The NIKE National All-Star Games website is the hub for the many tryouts, registrations, the tournament and the Senior All-Star Game, which is broadcast on ESPN.
