The Annapolis Design Co. design process has been honed from over 350 website designs. We take active input from our clients and make sure their voice is heard throughout the process to ensure all goals are met and no surprises are encountered.

Step One: Initial Call

Speak with our Creative Director to educate from your perspective how your business operates. Share your current frustrations, core business offerings, and goals for the future.

Step Two: Strategy

Screenshare with our Creative Director to review a wireframe or blueprint of your home page. The wireframe is based on what we've found during our initial call. The screenshare is live, so if you have an opinion to make a change, we can do so during the screenshare. You'll then receive a PDF copy of the wireframe to digest and share with partners. Once we have approval, we move on to design.

Step Three: Sharing Material and setting up Your Hosting

Upload your logos, videos, photos, and text content to our shared drive. The better quality your photos and videos, the more dynamic and unique the site will be. Depending on your current website hosting, we may recommend a new solution that will serve you for a longer term.

Step Four: Wireframe

Using your interview with our Creative Director, we formulate a plan to best suit your website needs. That plan is translated into a blueprint of your home page, which is delivered to you in a PDF. This PDF acts as a scope of the website and allows you to share something tangible with any decision makers in the website's ownership.

Step Five: Home Page Design Delivery

Annapolis Design Co. will deliver a link to your new home page design and a video walkthrough. Our creative director walks through the home page top to bottom giving you details about the design that you may not have caught. You can then digest the design on your own time to reply with edits to the design. With approval of the home page, we fill out content.

Step Six: Content Population

Annapolis Design Co. fills out your site's pages with the content provided in the shared folder. This includes text, images, video, special options sections like "Members Only" content, pay-wall barriers, registration, ecommerce, and search engine content.

Step Seven: Testing and Quality Assurance

Both Annapolis Design Co. and the client review the site for any last adjustments before going live. We test functionality, mobile response, content proofing, and links.

Step Eight: Site Launch and Support

Showtime! The new website design goes live. Annapolis Design Co. is available to the client for ongoing support, strategy, and development to keep their living site vibrant and accurate to their customers' needs.
